Sophie's Art

"I cannot count my day complete

I've never met Sophie Appleby personally, but I have visited her blog often enough to know that this quote applies perfectly to her...Sophie is a young English Teacher from Australia, a Member of Etsy Cottage Style and a very talented, cool and down to Earth artist. Surrounded by family treasures, beautiful fabrics and vintage buttons, she manages to transform what a lot of people will see as a pile of scraps waiting to be discarded....

into these little tokens of love....

Sweet collage brooches bursting with color and personality!

Her blog, "Her library Adventures", as she calls it, it's fun and easy to read.... She opens her door very frequently and lets us visit her creative space, where she shares her favorite books, antiquing trips and everything and anything that sparks her imagination.
Her Etsy store, Sophie Isobel Designs is full of her girly brooches and she's been known for donating her proceeds to the Australia Wildfire Victims...I told you she was cool!!!
So head out to Sophie's place and stock up on her brooches (you won't believe her prices!!!), they make perfect gifts and with so many to choose from, I'm sure you will find the perfect one for that special friend...Have a fun and creative week-end!!
