Mellow Yellow Thursday...

As artists, we are moved and inspired by colors or the lack of...As I get ready for Easter, there is one color that comes to mind: Yellow!

Sweet when matched with pale pink and white....

Yellow's a "Happy" color, it shines with optimism and enlightenment.

"A yellow room gives you perpetual sunshine."
Steve Hovland

I sure believe that! Here's my own bedroom...

Mentally and physically, yellow is believed to:

* Stimulate the nervous system
* Activate memory
* Encourage communication

Invite yellow to your Easter table, Martha sure did with this easy and super inexpensive centerpiece!!

If you would like to add a touch of yellow to your Easter decor, Trader Joe's is selling beautiful, sunny daffodils for $1.29 a bunch... That's what I call a bunch of yellow for just a little $!!

Yellow is one of my favorite colors and when tested I was told "my" personality color was yellow. The last photo with the flowers int eh little altered lunch-bag is darling!

For as long as I can remember, yellow has always been my favorite color. As a child growing up, my walls were painted yellow. My mother used to say, "when you get older you will find another color to love better than yellow." That never happend. What could possibly be better than sunshine and buttercups, poundcake, bananas, pineapple, roses, daffadils, the list goes on and on. You are so right and thankyou for your post, Char

OK. We are linked!

I'm just wondering...
Why do you suppose I love pears so much? I even like fake pears, paintings of pears, decorative pears, and I photograph pears that come from my pear tree!

Love Kat Fuller's pear!

Love your bedroom. Every time I put a trunk or bench at the foot of our bed I whack the corner with my shin or knee on it, even in daylight, coming around the big king bed, forgetting said object is there. I finally gave up...pain ruled over beauty.
Blessings,
Pam
