Friday Fun

Happy Friday Ladies!
First of all, thank you so much to all the wonderful bloggers that joined the party. Hope everyone had a great time visiting , getting inspired and leaving comments to encourage and support each other. I really had a great time reading each post!

Today I'd like to share a video I found about embossing powders. Let me apologize first if you think it's too basic as I know that some of you just create some incredible stuff. I'll guess this is for a beginner, like me. I always saw these products at my local Michael's but was never sure what they were for or how to really use them...now I know!

The link to watch Tim Holtz creating a beautiful tag is:

Hope you take about 3 or 4 minutes to check it out. I'll definitely try to make something with this technique because I love the vintage, worn look these products give!

Also, I would like to invite you to check our list of cottage blogs. We have received many new Members and they all have something wonderful and creative to share...lots of giveaways out there!!!Don't miss them!
I'm off now to enjoy the rest of my Friday and I wish you'll do the same.

Have a wonderful weekend, full of cupcakes and pink glitter!!!

Marcela, I for one enjoyed this tutorial very much! I am not a mixed media artist, so this is great for me to learn--thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for visiting my blog, and leaving paint chip crumbs so I could find my way here.

Love your blog - and love all those chippy details and architectural pieces that you've rescued...very very nice!

I'm not a "lady" - but I still plan on being a follower!
