Christmas on the Porch

Since we painted our house this summer from red to blue, I quickly discovered I needed to take a totally different look at decorating my porch for the Christmas holiday.  But I don't want to spend a fortune on new decor so I started searching out Pinterest for ideas for what I could do with what I have. The pic above is one I really love, the color pallet is amazing and very fresh looking-I have that sign and also an old window. Some of the ideas below I can switch the colors out too.

Above is my porch before and after...

Perfect for those planters on either side of the door--white freezer paper wrapping?

This works for the planter chair, paint the bucket white or red. Or maybe use white elements inside the bucket.

I do have a picket fence similiar to this too

I have this exact watering can too...I would leave just as is...

I may not use all of these ideas, but got some great inspiration to do this on the cheap with many of the items I already have.

Today I got an email from Flea Market Gardening blog with more inspiration. Ammie does an excellent job of using elements from her home and garden to decorate.
Check out the bench below and head over to the blog to see more
